Launched in 2018, Superheroes Against Superbugs (SaS) initiative aims to build a community dedicated to tackling the growing threat of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in India by raising awareness and promoting public and policy action. At SaS, we believe that everyone needs to become 'superheroes' if we are to effectively combat AMR in India and globally.

SaS is a novel and unique initiative in that it partners with young people to combat this century’s biggest health threat. By combining innovative science education with creative participatory approaches, SaS empowers young people with scientific knowledge about AMR and equips them with the communication and engagement tools to promote awareness and action within their sphere of influence.
You can learn more about how the journey of SaS began by delving into our pilot workshop report.
