Be the voice that helps farmers fight superbugs.
Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) isn’t just a hospital problem; it starts on our farms, in the way we use antibiotics for animals. The AMR Ambassador Fellowship invites BVSc, MVSc, and PhD scholars from veterinary and animal sciences institutions across India to take the lead in promoting responsible antibiotic use and healthier farming practices.
What You’ll Do?
As an AMR Ambassador, you’ll work directly with farmers and school students to:
- Create simple, impactful awareness materials — from posters to videos — that explain AMR in local, practical ways
- Build effective communication channels between science and the community
- Encourage action for responsible antibiotic use and improved farm hygiene
You’ll be part of the national campaign “Resisting AMR: One Farm at a Time!”, working alongside experts and changemakers to take AMR awareness beyond classrooms and labs to the farms where it matters most.
